Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Anvix platform. By signing up or using our service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Account Terms
To use our platform, you must create an account with accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. Accounts must be used by a single entity — sharing accounts is prohibited. You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use our services.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Anvix only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not use the platform to transmit harmful code, violate any laws, infringe on intellectual property rights, distribute spam, or interfere with the security or operation of the service. Any misuse may result in immediate suspension.
Payment Terms
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis as selected during checkout. All fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in our refund policy. We may change our fees with 30 days notice. Late payments may result in service suspension. You are responsible for all applicable taxes.
Intellectual Property
Anvix retains all rights, title, and interest in the platform, its code, design, and branding. You retain ownership of any data and content you upload. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
Data Protection
We take data protection seriously. Anvix acts as a data processor for school data and as a data controller for account information. Our data processing practices are outlined in our Data Processing Agreement (DPA), available upon request. We comply with applicable data protection laws including GDPR and COPPA.
Service Availability
We strive to provide 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice. Anvix is not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including third-party services, internet outages, or force majeure events.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anvix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time for any reason. Anvix may suspend or terminate your account immediately for breach of these terms. Upon termination, your access to the platform will cease. We will delete your data within 90 days unless retention is required by law.
Changes to Terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notice. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. If you do not agree, you may terminate your account before the changes take effect.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the federal or state courts located in San Francisco County, California. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
